Adolescent Inpatient Treatment in Meridian, ID

Cottonwood Creek’s Adolescent Inpatient Program provides treatment for adolescents, ages 12 to 17 years, experiencing acute mental health and/or addiction issues.

We provide a safe, supportive and structured environment staffed with highly-trained professionals who can appropriately address the behaviors which led to the need for inpatient treatment. Our services include the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of a variety of emotional, behavioral and substance use issues including:

  • Sudden Mood Changes
  • Anxiety and Panic Attacks
  • Suicidal Thoughts
  • Self-injury
  • Psychotic Disorders
  • Severe Disruptive Behavior
  • Drug or Alcohol Use
  • Depression

Our programs are focused on the reduction of symptoms and the development of healthy coping and social skills. Parents and caregivers play an important role as contributors and partners in the treatment process.

An individualized treatment plan is created for each patient participating in our Adolescent Program. Patients and families or caregivers will work with our pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists to tailor a plan that addresses the specific needs of each adolescent and builds on their strengths.

Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital works with area schools and ensures each student is receiving the appropriate amount of time, space and supplies to complete schoolwork during their stay at our hospital.
